Abstract
Objectives: The Pharmacy Risk Management Practice services, a significant new initiative, were created to align with pharmacy strategies in the future. The topic aims to declare Pharmacy Risk Management Practice services as a crucial new initiative in Saudi Arabia. Materials and Methods: This new project, driven by local and international Pharmacy Risk Management Practice regulations and standards of care, was formulated from the international business model, guidelines of pharmacy projects and management institution guidelines. The initiative drafted by project management professionals, progresses through various stages, from initial planning to execution, monitoring and control. Results: Pharmacy Risk Management Practice services include fundamental elements such as a defined vision, mission, goals, pharmacy risk types, risk analysis and risk management procedures, as well as risk management responses and monitoring of risk management and control. The risk management model description also ensures the project’s continuation. In addition, monitoring and control of the services were explored. Finally, the analysis investigates the transition to the operation project until the project is in the closed stage. Conclusion: The Pharmacy Risk Management Practice services are a new initiative in the pharmacy strategic plan. They highly demand preventing risk problems and future planning, improving patient care and avoiding unnecessary costs. Strategic planning of risk management education, training and implementation is critical and aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. This initiative underscores the importance of pharmaceutical care in developing appropriate pharmacy professional services.
